CRYO was founded after we discovered the age-old practice of CRYOtherapy. However, the concept is not new, but dates as far back as 2500 BC, when ancient Greeks and Egyptians used this form of localized cold therapy to alleviate pain and inflammation. The technique was further developed in the 20th century by Japanese and Polish doctors, who were searching for ways to ease their patients’ discomfort. When we tried it ourselves, the results astonished us; the wonderful benefits of CRYOtherapy suddenly opened new doors to self-renewal.
A client enters the CRYO Sauna, where the skin surface cools to -240°F in 20-40 Seconds. Using cryogenically cooled air to cool the skin boosts the performance of the metabolism and immune system, promoting pain reduction, improving the circulation of oxygen and nutrients to the body, and increasing caloric burn and collagen production. Red blood cells are enriched with oxygen, nutrients, and enzymes, while toxins are flushed from peripheral tissues.
Upon exiting the chamber, the body vasodilates and the enriched blood is released back into the skin and muscle tissues. The process flushes toxins from the joints, skin surface, and muscle tissues.
